Bio:
In nine starts at Great Falls, Richard went 2-1 with a 2.89 while walking 12 and striking out 39. The left handed pitcher was taken in the 8th round out of Michigan where he was with the Wolverines on a football scholarship. The 6'4 225 pounder was slated to compete for the back up quarterback job in Lloyd Carr's offense this fall, but Richard instead decided on baseball. The lefty tosses a low 90's fastball with a developing curve. Some scouts have mentioned that he needs work on his mechanics
